On Saturday, November 9, 2019, Woodridge United Church of Christ hosted its annual Winter Festival and Bazaar. This fun filled event is packed with something for every member of the family! Activities begin at 9:00 am run till 3:00 pm. Plan to spend a few hours to enjoy all we have planned for you.
A Complimentary Gift For you
This year each visitor , (one per family until supplies run out) will receive a handmade Prayer Square. Prayer squares are knitted or crocheted with prayers for the receiver as a form of Gods love and presence in hard times and times of need and comfort.
Country Store and Pastry Shop
A visit to our Country Store and Pastry Shop, featuring delicious seasonal pies and cakes made by Woodridge Church church volunteers is a must. Our homemade cookies, sold by the pound, have been a great success every year. This scrumptious array of homemade cookies includes Chocolate chip, Snicker doodle, Oatmeal and Magic bars, to mention just a few. Also available are gluten free cookies, fudge and toffee candy.
Shopping Galore
Other shopping opportunities include Jewelry, a Seasonal table, and a Penny Social offing beautifully made themed baskets.
Children’s Elf Shop
While mom and dad shop are shopping, the children can visit the “Children’s Elf Shop” where our younger shoppers can buy Christmas gifts for $1.00 for their Christmas list.
After shopping visitors will be interested in our luncheon menu served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This year’s menu will include homemade soup, pizza, sandwiches and beverages.
Hourly Raffles, Silent Auction and Grand Raffle
Visitors will have the opportunity to win prizes through hourly raffle ticket drawings and our our Grand Raffle. We also have a Silent Auction with many generously donated items that can be bid on if you so choose.
Book Lovers Room
If you love to read you are probably one of the many people who come back year after year to fill a bag with books for only $5.00. We have a room dedicated to just books. so don’t miss the chance to buy your favorites a great value.
Visitors are asked to bring canned goods and nonperishable items to support the Cranston Interfaith Food Pantry.
